Another Week In My Life

I was travelling to Hyderabad from Bangalore to spend time with my cute little daughter Mahaa.

I met with a major accident in my life, the Volvo bus in which I am travelling had lost control and slipped on the road and spun twice before it hit the railing on the highway.

I clearly remember the bus falling down and I am slipping down, I had the presence of mind to catch hold of a rod. When I held the rod, I could clearly see the bus spinning on the road and I was completely under shock and you won't believe that I was staring at death, as  I was waiting for the bus to hit something and as I was sitting in the first seat and was barely 2 meters from the front window, Luckily the bus hit the railing that was separating the highway from the service road. When I was starring at death,I just had one disappointment that I had seen Mahaa only once and I was there dying without seeing my daughter again....But God has willed that I come out safe out of it and take care of her.

When the bus stopped after hitting the railing, I was the first person to realize that the bus has stopped and had made some space from the front door to come out of the bus.

As soon as I came out of the bus, I shook my hands and legs, they were perfect and I has my wallet and cell phone in my pocket, apart from this I lost everything, I lost my glasses which has reduced my vision in that dark night.

I clearly remember seeing the other buses going past our bus but nobody cared to stop and help us, I took almost 2 minutes to regain my senses and called up 108 for ambulance, I really need to appreciate 108 service as it took 20 minutes to reach us and Police took 2 hrs to reach the spot.

I was the least injured person in the bus and I was really lucky to come out of it without any injury.

I have seen other 3 buses also getting stranded with accident at the same spot, mentally it was really very tough to see those three accidents within a span of 1.5 hr and being involved in one of the those highly damaged buses.

I had to travel by a lorry for 100 kms to reach Ananthapur and from there I had travelled to Kurnool and from there caught the bus to Hyderabad. the journey was an eye opener as it has shown me real essence of life, that nothing comes with you when you die and what ever success, reputation that you earn in your life comes to naught when fate decides to teach you a lesson.

I was really happy to see my Mahaa again, Mahaa reached her home at Yapral on 20th August for the first time.

All in all I am still in shock and trying my best to come out of it at the earliest.
