Another Day In My Life

It has been a great month both personally and professionally.

Suchi gave birth to Mahaa on July 31st 2010. My God Mahaa has been delivered exactly on the due date, July 31st was the due date for filing Income tax returns and Mahaa has proved that she is the daughter of a Chartered Accountant by getting delivered on the Due date...we CA's always have this habit of filing tax returns only on the due date and lo Mahaa is also born on the due date.

I got a call from Suchi on 29th July that she is getting her labor pains and she is getting admitted to the hospital, I had to book the first flight out of Bangalore to Hyderabad which was at 1.30 pm and the flight got delayed by 2 hrs, the 3 hrs I spent in Bangalore Airport were really tough as I really tensed about Suchi's health and how she was handling her labor pains, I might have called her at least 10 times in 3 hrs to en quire about the situation.

I finally reached Hyderabad at 4.45 pm and reached the hospital (Andhra Mahila Sabha) at 6.15 pm and met with Suchi, she was yet to deliver Mahaa....as doctors were trying for normal delivery and finally Suchi delivered Mahaa on July 31st at 7:03 am.

At that point of time, I was at home and when I called my mom and mom in law, they informed me that it was a baby girl, I was very happy when I heard that it was a baby girl as almost everyone in the family wanted a baby boy but for me and Suchi.

I wanted to name her after my favorite deity "Goddess Mahankali"  and I really liked the name Mahaa as it represents bigness and if you add anything to Mahaa it becomes much bigger than what you add....Hope Happiness and Positivity are always with Mahaa.
