Another Day In My Life

I am getting busier by the day, I always believe in one thing, The busiest person in this world has time for everything and If I say I was very busy and could not write up on my blog, I would be cheating my conscience.


Life has become more hectic with me taking care of Corporate tax team also, now my plate is completely full and I realize the importance of delegating things so that I can get many things done in the same time.


I am really fed up with "Personal Interviews", It's a big pain to keep taking interviews for the whole day and end up with no short-listed candidates. I never imagined that recruiting team members is such a big pain in my ass. I am currently having two monkey's on my back one is recruiting 35 people for my team and another monkey which is troubling me for a long time is the bonus report. 


I am really happy that my lateral thinking is getting improved on my job, even UK Secondee has  appreciated me for this. I would love to get more analytical and think out of the box to come out with simple solutions to the daily problems which a manager comes across.


It's really a big challenge to take up a team which is already there, to study there problems and resolve the personal differences within the team and getting all the team members to see a bigger picture for the team rather than seeing an individual picture in the team.

IPL 3 is going great guns, It's really good for Indian cricket that our league is being fought so close, I am die hard Deccan Chargers fan and hope they make it to semis, It's literally a quarter final match now for us. Chelsea had a four point lead before this weekend but they lost to Tottenham and at the same time Man U has beaten Man City and Chelsea now has only one point lead with three more games to go.....God just ensure that there are no last minute slip up's at Stamford Bridge. Man U and Man City match was supposed to be an intense match but that intensity was missing, may be this is because of the fatigue that normally sets into players towards end of the season.


I am ready to go to office today again.....!!!!!
