Another Day In My Life

Today, I had a first hand experience of a daughter's love for her dad, Vaishnavi who is just 26 months old has exhibited her love for me...Today I was  attending my landmark Education's Leadership Program which normally goes on for four hours from 7 pm to 11pm.

I was attending the session there and my phone rings, when I checked as to whose phone it was, it was a call from my wife Suchi....the initial thought was why is she calling me at this point of time...I came out of the class to take her call.

It has been raining cats and dogs in Bangalore today, Suchi called me up to say that my 26 old daughter Vaishnavi is crying and the reason for her crying is that it's raining outside and dad is not at home and he might get wet in the rain.

She understood that I am safe and not getting drenched in the rain only when I spoke to her and clarified that I am attending the session and I would return back home only when the rain is completely subsided.

This gesture from my daughter has taught me a big lesson that what it means to be really interested in other's life and only when you are interested in other's life you can make a difference in their life.

I am really blessed to have such a loving daughter...!!!!

London Olympics and India

London Olympics are about to end tomorrow, India has won 6 medals (2 Silver and 4 Bronze).

Everyone blames India saying that we have 1 billion population and we could win only 6 medals and they take pride in criticizing by quoting fancy numbers.

I would draw their attention to the attention to the fact that in India not all 1 billion people are playing Olympic sports, out of 1 billion only 81 people were sent to Olympics and out of which 6 medals have won...!!!

It's an amazing improvement by India from 3 medals it won in Beijing, it works out 100% increase from previous edition.

We now need to celebrate this achievement and feel good about the fact that we have won 6 medals, I still remember 1992 Olympics wherein India has not won a single medal and how people were criticizing all the Indian sportsmen saying that we don't have the winning habit etc..,

In 1996, Olympics Leander Paes winning a bronze medal and I still remember reading the newspapers on that day which praised him and raised him to the sky...In 2000 Olympics Karanam Malleshwari has won a Bronze Medal and ensured that India get's a place in the medal tally....in 2004 Rajvardhan Rathore has won a Silver Medal in shooting....In 2008 Abhinav Bindra has won a first Gold Medal and it was added by two more bronze medals from boxing and wrestling.

Now in 2012 Olympics, we have 6 medals...It's an amazing journey and this represents the progress we have made from 1992 to 2012....I am proud to be an Indian...Congrats to all the winners and more importantly the participants...!!!

In the recent weeks, I have read some news items which was dealing with a kidnap of Foreign Tourist from Italy, MLA from Orissa and now a collector from Chattishgarh has been kidnapped by Maoists in central India.

The common thing in all these kidnap's is that the Maoists are negotiating for releasing the top Maoists leaders who are in the jail and the government is just not doing enough to negotiate with these kidnappers.

My opinion on this aspect is that, even government should go the aggressive route and negotiate with the Kidnappers that even the Maoists leaders serving their sentence would be killed without any justice if they are to go ahead and kill those kidnappers.

I feel that once the government takes that strong step then Maoists won't be taking resorting to such tactics of kidnapping public servants.
It's been a long time that I have logged into by blog...But lot's of things have happened in my life which I would like to share with you all.

I have completed by Curriculum for Living in Landmark Education and have created a new future for myself and right now I have an objective in my life, A Cause to live for and die for.

I would be a Seminar Leader by 2015 and a Landmark Forum Leader by 2020....Planning to do some amazing things in Landmark Space...I shall make a difference to this world and live out my possibility to the largest extent possible.

I have learnt to live for others and make a difference to their life....!!!!!

My Brother...!!!!

My Brother...!!!!

Landmark Forum

I have done my landmark forum on Sept 23,24,25 and 27, Gurmeet Khurana was the forum leader who has conducted the session and to be frank with myself the course has really blown me off.

It made me realize that "LIFE IS EMPTY AND MEANINGLESS AND IT'S EMPTY AND MEANINGLESS THAT IT'S EMPTY AND MEANINGLESS"

I have committed to myself that my brother, my nephews and nieces would be doing their forum for sure....no need to mention about my children they would be doing their forum.

I was forced into this landmark course by Keerthana, I took her interview some two years back and she has come across as a stubborn and reactive girl, but I have gone ahead and recruited her as I saw the potential of being a trainer in her...after 2 years when she actually realized her potential and had some interactions with her, I have realized that she is not the same person who I met two years back and she has explained that Landmark forum has made all the difference in her life.

I am doing my Landmark advanced course in Nov 1st week and in this one month, I have committed for two things, on personal front, I would like to reduced 3-5 kgs from my weight and on professional front, would like to implement balanced scorecard in my team which has been pending for more than 9 months.
